One-Rep Max (1RM)
Also written: 1RM, 1RMs, one-rep max, one rep max, 1-rep max, e1RM, estimated 1RM
The most weight you can lift for one clean rep with good form.
Your is a snapshot of your max strength on a lift. Many programs set your working weights as a percentage of it, like 75% of 1RM.
You donβt have to max out to know it. An estimated 1RM (e1RM) is calculated from a heavy set of several reps, which is safer and nearly as useful.
