How to Use This Book

Welcome to The Strength B.I.B.L.E. β€” Basic Instructions Before Lifting Everything.

This is not a book you read once and put on a shelf. It is a system you work with. It teaches you how to train, tracks what you actually do, and helps you adjust based on real results.

The Two Halves

Front Section (Teaching Core): The concepts. The movements. The science. The decision frameworks. This is where you learn why and how to train.

Back Section (Living Journal): Your personal training history. Logs, , reflections, goals, recovery. This is where you turn knowledge into progress.

The Front Section teaches. The Back Section proves.

How to Move Through the Front Section

Every concept and every movement is taught at four levels:

  1. 8th Grade (where you start)
  2. High School Senior
  3. College
  4. PhD / Scientific Depth

You start at Level 1. You read. You check your understanding. If you got it, you go deeper. If not, the same idea is explained differently.

You don’t have to reach Level 4. You can stop at whatever level makes you effective. But the deeper levels are there when you want them.

How to Use the Journal

Log your training. Write your reflections. Track your recovery. Set goals. Read your old entries.

The journal is not homework. It’s how you learn to coach yourself.

What This Book Is Not

It is not a rigid program. It is not a one-size-fits-all system. It is not a shortcut. It is not a substitute for a human coach when one is available.

It is a framework. A tool. A system you shape over time.

What Matters Most

Show up. Pay attention. Iterate. The athlete who tracks, reflects, and adjusts will always beat the athlete who just grinds blindly.

That’s the whole game.
