Monthly Reflection
Monthly Reflection
Weekly reflection zooms in. Monthly reflection zooms out. Use this once every 4 weeks — or when the reflection panel nudges you.
How to Use This
Answer honestly. The point isn’t to fill every box — it’s to notice patterns you’d miss week to week.
Novice athletes: monthly reflection is mandatory. You’re still learning what normal feels like.
Intermediate athletes: monthly reflection is expected. You know your body — now learn your trends.
Advanced athletes: quarterly is often enough. Switch to monthly when you’re approaching a meet, a peak, or a stall.
The Reflection
1. What did you accomplish this month?
(, sessions completed, consistency, technique breakthroughs)
2. What did you struggle with?
(Missed sessions, nagging pain, motivation, sleep)
3. Did you hit your monthly goal?
☐ Yes ☐ Partially ☐ No
If no — what got in the way?
4. What did you learn about yourself?
(Recovery patterns, what motivates you, what derails you)
5. What’s your focus for next month?
(One thing. Not five.)
6. Do you need a deload?
☐ Yes ☐ No
If yes — planned or reactive?
7. How’s your WHY? Still the same?
(Re-read your WHY page. Has anything shifted?)
After You Finish
- Update your Goal-Setting page if the month shifted your target.
- Check the Mastery Tracker — any concepts still stuck at Level 1?
- If you flagged a , schedule it now. Don’t wait.
