The King of Upper Body Lifts

The King of Upper Body Lifts

For decades, the overhead press was considered the king of upper body lifts. Strongmen pressed. Weightlifters pressed. Soldiers pressed.

Then the bench press took over. It was easier to load heavier. It was easier to teach. It looked impressive lying down.

But the press never went away. Because nothing else builds true overhead strength, core stability, and full-body tension the way the press does. The bench is a great exercise. The press is a great lift.
